The Woodring Brothers furniture store (which was separate from their factory) was located at 114 E. Bremer Ave. in a building constructed in 1873 by J.B. Barber to house his grocery store. A.J. Wile worked for Woodring Bros from about 1880 to Apr 1891; Frank Pitcher began working there in Nov 1889. Note the stone under the sidewalk and the "natural" state of the pole. H. G. Nichols, was to the right and Curtis hardware to the left. Original glass negative was found in a box of plate formerly owned by Waverly newspapers. L-R ? A.J Wile, Frank Woodring, Frank Pitcher.
