Waverly Air Base. Former airmen of the 788th Radar Squadron who served at the base south of Waverly in the 1950s and 1960s gathered at Kohlmann Park in 1989 for an impromptu reunion. The only ones identified in the paper were Rick Edwards, Parkersburg and Owen C. Williams of Colfax. Further names were given by Jeff Hay [3rd from left back row.] Others in back row are unknown. Kneeling: Ed Stoddard, unknown, Paul Houge, unknown. Middle row: Rick Edwards, Don Findley, Mr. Maynard, unknown, unknown, and at far right Ed Statler. Owen Williams and Jim[?] Shields are there too but can't be placed.
