Note: The building on the left is the Coddington & Laird building at the corner of W. Bremer Ave and NW 2nd St.; it opened on 1 Mar 1913 and was destroyed by fire on 13 Dec 1933. V.A. Birum was the agent for Marion automobiles in 1913.

Dated at 1910c based on cars. V.A. Birum, not V.H. moved from this building in 1914 selling to W.W. Clark (Ford dealer). He then moved to a lot West of the original Methodist church.-Nick McCumber
