The Rock Island depot with the park area on W. Bremer Avenue. While Mr. Van Heel worked there he kept a flower bed on the corner. The Waverly Elevator is at left. The tracks ended at Bremer Ave. -- one train over shot and had to wait for and crew from Waterloo to get it back on track. With no turn around the trains always backed out as far as Waverly Junction where passengers could make connections..
