Waverly Newspaper, July 25, 1987. Greenwood, as it is known now that Wartburg's President lives in it, was built by D.A. Long prior to 1875. At that time, it was a farm home with farm field between it and Waverly's northwest section. The addition was planned after the college purchased the property from Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Juhl. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 89N0016.
