Waverly Newspaper, Jan 5, 1915. For many years, every January Dr. Rohlf celebrated his birthday by hosting a free clinic. Physicians from near and far were invited to Waverly. They spent the day giving free medical attention (including surgeries) to needy patients. In the evening they attended a birthday dinner in either the Fortner Hotel or Dr Rohlf's home. The doctors still had enough energy to roast Dr. Rohlf. Here, Dr Rohlf is carving and Dr Frank Osincup is seated 3rd from right. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 89N0026.
