This is the corner of W. Bremer and 4th St. looking north across Bremer Ave. There is a light bulb suspended in the middle of the intersection, so the date would be after the street lights were installed. The building on the left was the Wartburg Publishing House and the across the street, the old Waverly House, built in 1862, bears no sign to indicate if it was in use then. CaPhenin Chemical Co. was about to move into after a remodeling. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 91D0027
