Waverly Newspaper. Dr. W.A. Rohlf (left) with his brother Dr. E.L. Rohlf who did not practice in Waverly, but did work in Dr. W.A. Rohlf's office in Waverly during the summers when he was in medical school. This photo was probably taken at that time, ca. 1898.
Dr. Rohlf, in addition to his annual free birthday clinics, was active in many civic affairs. He was a life-long friend to the boy scouts and a rock with a plaque dedicated to "Beaver Bill" still stands near the scout cabin in Kohlmann Park (according to notes from the 1990s). Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 89N0031.
