Churches - Congregational; Houses. Spahn & Rose demolished the house on the northeast corner of 2nd st. and 1st ave. S.W. to make room for storage of materials. The house had long been a rental and enough time had passed that many did not know it had once been the parsonage for the Congregational church. The church which stood just north of the house was torn down in the 1960s and the materials used to make the warehouse which stands there today. December 1989.
