Looking west along Wilson Ave. NW in 1950s. Wilson Ave, had been made a public road when it was connected to 16th St. With more traffic safety measures were needed. At far left the IC railroad tracks can be be see and beyond them a small bit of 5th Ave. NW going towards Bartels home. The truck is a Michigan {Michigan Power Shovel Company] truck-mounted mobile shovel/crane specifically marked TWCT-16 from the mid 1950s.
