This photograph was taken during the construction of the Bremer Avenue bridge which was completed in the late summer of 1950. Pedestrians had to cross the wooden appear ramp to the bridge while construction was underway. Angle parking was not abolished until increased traffic made it necessary to add lanes. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 92A0027
