This picture was taken during the construction of the Bremer Avenue bridge which was completed in late summer 1950. The photo was donated by the Iowa DOT, along with others, with no identification or date. Four men of responsibility. Men known to be part of the project are: 1. Galen W Fiddick, the Resident engineer; 2. Fred Gilbert, of Iowa State Highway Commission; 3. ? Osnik, state engineer; 4. Alf Ernest Oxton, Inspector. 5. Dick Weldon of Weldon Bros, bridge builder of Weldon Bros. 0f Iowa Falls, Iowa. Or there could also be a local man in the group. The men also appear in 92A0021. The 1950 was torn down in 2024 and completed in late November 2025.
