Waverly Newspaper. Vriezelaar's garage on W. Bremer had water running in the doors. The building was built circa 1911 for the Peoples Home Auto Co., a local company that made automobiles. It was used over the years by Cerexmakers of soft drinks, ice, and near beer, by the Ford dealership and the upper story was once a roller rink. The building was torn down in the 1970s when Fareway built their store on the block. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 91N0137.
