Plat Index: just south of the junction of Highways 3 and 63 which is about 7 miles east of Waverly. April 1993. The barn is seen from the east. When Mr. Bales built/gathered the buildings for "his" town, he planned to develop the area into a small community. For some reason, the idea never gained a foothold. The cafe and gas station were open for business, but nothing else stayed. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No 93F0005
