This picture has a long message on the back that hints at who was interested in who and who wouldn't like the picture of themselves, but only name is Bess, the sender. This photo was originally given to the paper by W.H. Kahn. The message is as follows [question marks right after a word means they're uncertain, (?) means a whole word that wasn't legible: I believe you got a glimpse of this "handeonie"? bunch of our class (?) the day you left. I'll lend you this, too (though I've hafe? a dogen? left). When you return it, I'll return yours. So that's fair. You are sure a "winning" fair in that (?). Someone will get killed when (?, initials: _.g.) sees it, (?) I'll promise it you'd be you. I'll tell him I told you he asked if you'd (?) we are, (?) .... [this continues and isn't too legible]. This picture ran in the Bremer County Independent; 23 Sept. 1968. Back row. Kare Sullivan, Doris Fritz Starr, Lydia Weber Reith, Bessie Rew Page [sender of the card] and Erwin Simpson the only male member of the class. Center row: Elizabeth Mooney, Edna Conner Stuart, Pearl Knapp Russel. Font two: Faith Watkins Deal and Nellie Case Mathews [granddaughter of Wm. P.
