Original Town Blks 5 & 9. Waverly Newspaper. Post card. Looking west from the middle of the 200 block of E. Bremer. The Broadie Drug store was the building across the street to the west. It was built in 1900 and the postcard was post marked 1910. The photo was probably taken that year: the State Bank already exists and the Old Stone Corner still remains on the far corner. Others on the street: Leslie & Humphrey dry goods, Ref's Restaurant Bakery, Stauffer & Hartman Drug, Dreamland theater, and the Fortner Hotel.
