The back of the photograph says "From Public Information Service: Cedar Falls- Motorists and pedestrians as well were startled to see this large Vietnamese tiger glaring at them Tuesday (April 4) from the back of a University of Northern Iowa station wagon. The tiger (of the stuffed variety) was enroute to the UNI Museum where, after 18 years, it will have a new home. Dr. Pauline Sauer, Museum director, picked up the tiger and numerous other Vietnamese items for the Museum."
