Owned by Maury W. Vilmont, Harrison's dime store was a Wavery business from 1932 to 1985. It was named after his wife, Berniece Harrison and first located in 118 E. Bremer. In 1957 the store was remodeled to include #120. In this photo Harrison's was stocked for Christmas sales with over 10,000 toy items. After Fareway moved to West Bremer Harrison's bought that building and moved east in 1972. Over the years managers included Dick Koch, and at closing in 1985 Bob Harrison. Harrison went out of business in 1985.
