One of Wartburg's off-campus housing units, Ketha House, was razed as the college began closing down outmoded housing. The house was down in a matter of hours. The house was located on 11th St NW between 3rd and 4th Avenues on the west side of the street. The white house beside it was known as Cotta House and had once been the Wartburg president's home. It was moved to this location from just southeast of Old Main.
