Men in suits on and by bridge. Date is a random guess based on the possible ages and the dress of the young men. Many county roads well int[ the 30s were still unpaved.
The original donor to the library was Dorothy Droste Hertel. Her father was associated with the Waverly Democrat for a number of years. After a brief time in Oklahoma he returned to Waverly where he went on to become the president of the Waverly Publishing Co.
