B. E. Mick's women's clothing store. Bernard and Patricia Mick bought the old Schlutsmeyer store in 1962. It was the beginning of their long association with Waverly's business world. Over the years in addition to this business the Mick family owned Patricia's Fashion Fabrics, Elegant Woman, Denim Patch, Bridal Gallery, and Home at Heart. Son, Robert and his wife Ruth took over in later years. They closed the first and last of the stores when the doors of B. E. Mick's closed in 2018.
