On KP for the St. John's chicken supper were these three [sic] members of the church's Ladies Aid which conducts the annual event. Between 40 and 50 women worked in the kitchen and served the home-made food to approximately 600 people.. Washing hard to keep up with the shifts of diners were, left to right, Mrs. Bill Heuer, Allison; Mrs. Eldo Voights, Bristow; and Mrs. Clarence Schrage, Greene. BI; 7 Sept. 1955.
