Looking northeast from E. Bremer Ave. The Hawkeye Oil Co. station became part of that organization in 1924 when the company bought out W.R. Seeley. The building in back at the left was the freight depot for the CGW. Located on the east side of the tracks it had been originally labeled as a temporary structure, but was not torn down until the line no longer needed a freight depot. The passenger depot, built in 1904, is behind the station at the right.
