Looking south at the back of the gas station. The building across E. Bremer on the left was the lumber yard (may have gone by the name Waverly Lumber Co. at the time). This station was razed in the 1940s and replaced by a larger one, which in turn was enlarged again. In 1980 the First National Bank bought the lot and built there. The building on the right was a boarding house or hotel depending on the various owners.
