213 E Bremer- The Western Shop Owned by Liscums looks to have opened in 1970 as this is when the 1st as was seen. Under Liscums ownership the Boutique was also part of the Western Shop. The last ad in the paper for Liscums was in 1989. The 2 cars in this pic are 71-72 vintage.

211 E Bremer-Gambles, Gambles occupied the building by at least the late 1930s and it removed the elaborate original cornice in 1939 (according to research by the public library volunteers). The building was constructed in 1884 as the east end of the Phoenix Block, a double-store brick building constructed on the lots of smaller frame commercial buildings that were destroyed in a fire in January of that same year. The historic appearance of both was maintained until sometime after 1963 based on historic photos. The last add for Gambles was in 1982
