The Hub restaurant/bar. This building was vacant before 2001. Looking north on W. Bremer in the 600 block. According to Mike Dillavou on Facebook's, 'You might be from Waverly if' - his grandfather moved to Waverly in 1945 and bought the service station. That sale included the small building and restaurant business next door then known as the Dillavou lunch. Ila Homan ran the restaurant for him. In the early 1960s Mr. Dillavou sold the restaurant business but not the building to Art McCue who chose to rename it The Hub. Among the responses to his comments Therea Siberski Knight remembered the pizza received praises and a note that it was served in a tent shaped paper.
