109 housed a Skogmo store run by Barb Downing and Jo Donahue until Mode O'Day clothing store moved in about 1962. It was managed by Ethel Menzel. Kathy Folkerts bought the business in 1981 and then moved it to #211 in 1984. The Tall Corn Tavern, in what was earlier know as the Beebe building, was clipped by a tornado [or very strong wind] in 1989. That leaves 1984 -1989 as the date of this photo.

The parking meters went away in 1989. Sears added that horizontal siding in 69. The new windows were put above sears in 62.
