These 3 businesses were on this block at the same time for a period. L-R: Maxfield's lounge was in 108 E. Bremer for quite a long period , The real estate firm begun by C. R. Baker sported several variations in name over the years. This sign went up over 106 around 1965 while his sons, Arlo and Clele, were owners. At 104 was Maxfield's cafe which closed soon after this photo was taken. That business was replaced by Patricia's Fabrics in 1968. I was owned by B. E. and Patricia Mick.
