This building was built around the remains of a portion of the old canning factory. Fred's Super Valu moved here in 1963. The store owned by Fred Gaylor also had a restaurant area, a post office substation, and a service area where bills could be paid and checks cashed. The location is looking southwest from W. Bremer and 10th St. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 98N0024
