The brick building on far left was built in 1891 and the little frame one was replaced in 1898. For now that is as short a time span that has been proven. Fritz Grocery on the corner of 1st St. was there for a long time. Later, it had another long time occupant as Mc Kliget's market. The buildings on the far right fit between 1st St. SW and the river. Eventually the bank was cut back a bit to provide a straight drop for the river bank and the cement wall..
