Mary Cheville Collection. Tillie's Diner just west of the Bremer County Historical Society Museum on W. Bremer between 4th and 5th Sts., north side. Tillie's was formerly Roy's Place, a long time eatery at 404 W. Bremer. In the days of radio it was a popular place to learn the results of away ball games. Also for Roy's egg cheese fried [almost deep] sandwiches, House to the left still served as a home almost to its end. It was torn down in the summer of 1989.Accession No. 89F0153
