Bridges; Floods. The Cedar River as seen from the East Light Plant. The water on occasion flows over the mill race. In earlier days the bridge was lower than the current bridge and a storm such as this would have washed out the bridge. In one such flood the timbers washed downstream and were caught at about the bend of the river and tied to the shore to be used for a new bridge. Accession No. 90N0305.
