Waverly Newspaper. This house in NW Waverly was only one of many whose lawn was filled with articles to be sorted, dried, or thrown away. The water rose so fast that householders did not have a chance to clear their basements. On Bremer Ave, every service station was filled with cars with open doors. Over the doors were draped the carpeting and floor mats drying in the breeze. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 91N0128.
