The original building was erected in 1980 for Stumme Lumber which had to vacate their building at 322 E. Bremer when First National Bank bought all that block except the NW corner lot. The lumber company closed in January 1989. Other than a few auctions held there, the building stood empty until Heartland Farmacy, LTD [a complete line of animal health & base mix feeds] moved in later that year. Over the years several companies and agencies operated from there. As of 2025 Baker Enterprises, a concrete and excavating company calls it home.
