Looking west along E. Bremer from about 3rd St. *These pictures were made from glass plates donated to the Bremer County Historical Society Museum by a Barber descendant. She stated that they were taken about 1904 and provided the name of the photographer (G. S. Barber) and the people identified.
Bremer Ave. was being paved in the summer of 1897, so this view could be a bit prior to July 1897, but not after.
Signage on businesses: "meat market" and "bakery."
