Looking northwest from West Bremer and the bridge. The buildings to the far right were squeezed in between 1st Street and the river which had a more natural bank at that time. Bremer is still dirt in this photo, so that means it was taken by the turn of the century. Native Americans on horseback followed by two enclosed wagons and possible a third coming off of 1st St. NW. There is a single light bulb hanging over the intersection. Assigned date is 1900. May be too early for the street light.
