Bremer County Independent; 4 June 1991p9. High water along the dry run looking north along 6th St. NW from Bremer Ave. The duplex sat at about 1st Ave. The empty lot front left was purchased by the city about a year before and removed. This page has 8 photos of the high water resulting from an 8 a.m. downpour [2.25 inches] and the one that followed shortly after 10a.m. which dropped another inch of rain. The flood of 2008 was very destructive one and resulted in all the houses on the east side of 6th St. NW being torn down or moved. The dry run was redone and paved.
