Carl Meyer sold his shoe store to Gary Thompson in 1970. Thompson Shoes after they had enlarged the store into the front to the east in 1984. This photo was taken along with those of other business fronts in 1989. The store changed hands again in 1994. This to time to co-owners Don Johnson. By 2016 their daughter Amy was managing the store. Since 1994 the store has retained the name of Thompson Shoes. [dated 2026.]
