The upper floor of the Waverly/Palace theater. Built in the 1920s as The Community Building this area was reached by a front stairway with a landing half way up that led to the east or west room. The windows pictured are from that era. The camera is aimed toward the south. The large pipe is probably left from a later theater renovation involving air flow/conditioning. Dance classes were held up there in the 1960-70s.
As of 2026 The second floor has been converted to the Palace Apartments and the theater recently underwent an extensive remodeling.
