Ernie Coonradt bought the lots in 1951 and offered free black dirt for the digging. Coonradt Ford Mercury built this building in 1953 and moved the business from 110 W. Bremer. Various records show that by 1995 Bob Coonradt was the sole owner. The repair shop was built east to west across the back.
Waverly Health center bought the building after the dealership closed and are using it for additional space.
