Completed in 1993 the 5th addition as seen from the southwest across 20th St. NW. Beginning in 1994 the Alzheimer's wing was for a time located on the 2nd floor of the D wing.. It was fitted out with its own dining room, lounge/activity room and shower room. The staff was trained for the special needs of the residents.
