St Paul's Lutheran Church just after it was dedicated in 1908. The original church (which once belonged to a Universalist congregation) is still visible behind the new church. The old church was dismantled in early 1909 and the lumber was used to build a house (no longer extant) near the Wartburg campus.
Text on the back of the postcard, which is postmarked 26 February 1908, stated that the windows were not all installed in the new church and that the "debris" would be removed before the dedication on Sunday.
