This view of the Congregational church and parsonage is from a 1909 postcard. The parsonage on the right was constructed in 1891 at a cost of $1700. The original church (dedicated in 1866) was remodeled into this version in 1897. The parsonage is at the corner of 2nd St and 1st Ave SW. A more complete history of the church appears in the 21 October 1897 editions of Waverly newspapers at the time of the rededication of the church.
