Reading can be fun! That's one of the important things these youngsters having been discovering in the summer program at the Washington Library. The six children shown above are only a few of the large group which as been attending daily reading and story hour sessions at the public library this summer under the direction of Mrs. Joy Batterson. "Going Fishing" was the theme of this year's program and the students this morning received appropriate attendance certificates and ice cream treats to make the close of the four-week event. Daily attendance was almost 100 children.
