36 children from the first and second grades in Crawfordsville traveled to Washington Monday to tour some of the places of interest. Probably the biggest thrill for the kids was the trip over here which was made by train on the C. B. & Q. railroad. They were met at the station by a Crawfordsville school bus and taken to the city library, the calendar factory and to the local dairy, where each of the children was given an ice cream cone. Coming with the children were their teachers, Mrs. White and Mrs. Anderson. The return trip to Crawfordsville was made in the school bus.
