"E. Bremer Ave.100 block south side. Waverly Home Bakery was owned by Fran and Jane Wollenzien who moved the bakery to #114 from its long time home in the Big 6. The Kim Fung Chinese restaurant opened in #112 about the time this photo was taken, The owners closed it in Nov. 1990, to focus on their Dubuque concern. Midwest Gas office then occupied #110 whose upper structure still shows remnants of the old State Bank Building. Some of these lots had been combined into a single entry in the property records due to ownership by 1989 but the older records remain in the courthouse. Accession No. 90F0027
