Mary Cheville Collection. Nov. 1989. Milton Westendorf's DX service station with a Star Clipper train car in rear of the old CGW depot off edge at right. In 1941 Ed Platte moved his business here. In 1960 he sold it to Milt who added 2 bays to allow for more mechanical work. Milt's son, Ed, eventually took over and focused on maintenance and repair. The tanks were eventually removed and the DX sign taken down. Ed retired in 2024.
