The building was being remodeled from the Waverly Paint and More store to the office for Mike Walker's State Farm business. This building was one of the first constructed at the end of WW II when materials were still scarce. Cement blocks were easier to obtain than wood, at least in Waverly, Further remodeling has changed the look again.
