BI; 22 June 1938. A weak footing created a swaying of the 45 foot chimney at the Wright Greenhouse. It was noticed by Harley Cooley while he was working at the base. A city line truck was immediately called. Jack Comstock and his crew threw a cable around the upper portion and pulled it to the north where its force was spent on a small storage shed. The top 30 feet was removed.
