Bremer from 2nd St. The wooden buildings on the left were some of the earlier business fronts. These buildings were not necessarily 22' in width, so they do not represent an actual lot. The buildings just to the left of the pole were replaced by the J.C. Penney building in 1930. The elm tree is a survivor of the native forest which covered the area when the town was platted. The post card which was copied had a postmark of August 15. 1911 .
